![]() The Manual Installation Procedure for Windows link for installing LW272, mentions that pirated OS (not ur case) and OS with no updates fail to detect the device. SP3 is available (has been for long time now) Try updating your OS. And since you are on genuine OS even up-gradation is no issue. Should most likely be the issue with OS (which actually makes sense since Win-7 is detecting you device). ![]() This will go into a different route and you have to explain them 32bit vs 64bit and what not. On the Technical front - I agree with suggestion by Indian.Maveric. Bsnl 3G Data Card Software Upgrade From WindowsYou must upgrade from Windows XP SP2 to Windows XP SP3. Thanks anyway BSNL2) Tried copying the 32bit driver files but it did not work.3) My system was actually WinXP SP3 (sorry for the wrong info earlier)4) On the laptop, with some tips from a friend, uninstalled a recent driver installation and automatically the BSNL datacard software started autoinstalling. But eventually some other driver got installed.5) I had taken the device to the BSNL office. It worked fine there 6) I am planning to sell the device to a friend where the device is working fine. I guess it is some clashing existing device drivers that has messed up.I guess if a little more robust software from BSNL its partners would have saved me a lot of trouble. Thanks a lot guys for the responsessuggestions.Regards,Only.
